Specsavers is an optometrist-owned-and-led eye-care brand that brought its model to Canada in late 2021. The Denman Place location is part of a fast-growing national network that has expanded to more than 150 stores across British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, and Manitoba.
A comprehensive adult eye exam is $99 and includes a 3D OCT scan at no extra charge, a detailed image that helps optometrists detect issues earlier. For eligible patients aged 65 and over, BC’s provincial health plan covers the exam at no out-of-pocket cost.

How much is an eye exam at Specsavers Denman?
A comprehensive adult eye exam is $99 and includes a 3D OCT eye scan at no extra cost. The OCT scan captures a detailed image of the layers of the eye so the optometrist can spot conditions like glaucoma or macular degeneration earlier.
Does BC MSP cover eye exams here?
Yes. For eligible patients aged 65 and over, the BC Medical Services Plan covers the eye exam at no out-of-pocket cost. Children under 19 are also typically covered under MSP for one routine exam per year.
What are Specsavers Denman’s hours?
Specsavers Denman is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Booking ahead at specsavers.ca/stores/denman or by phone at (778) 372-9630 is recommended for exams.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?
Walk-ins are welcome for browsing frames and basic adjustments. For eye exams and contact-lens fittings, booking online or by phone is best so an optometrist’s time is reserved.
